Anandpeta,
April 2013: To provide financial services to low income and zero income women, Rehab
India foundation triggered up Padosi SHG Phase-III programme at Anandpeta, District
Guntoor, Andhra Pradesh in April 2013.
Loan was
distributed by Hafiz Abid, Project Coordinator of SHG Programme. On the occasion,
three women received loan worth Rs. 7500/- each. The women namely Janamma,
Pathan Fathima and Raheemuneesa received financial aid for initiating and
continuing Sarees sales business.
Mr. Raheem,
Moral Educationalist took session on women rights and said, “A woman in Islam
has the right to acquire knowledge and education and Islam does not prohibit
woman working outside the home.” To add to it, he encouraged women to support
their family and took a step forward for better future of their children.
