Rehab Ifthar distribution 2015

"To become the torch that leads those in darkness towards a brighter path and to extend a helping hand to the underprivileged", Rehab India Foundation disburses Iftar food kits during the auspicious month of Ramadhan. Our annual Ramadan appeal enables big-hearted donors to use their zakat to provide relief from hardship and share joy during the blessed month

In Ramadhan, on the one hand when we see a set of people preparing different, special, delicious foods. On the other hand we can even find a set of people who are worried about morsel of food to break their fast.

The prime intention of Rehab India Foundation in disbursing Iftar food kits is to help the needy people to celebrate the Holy month of Ramadhan flamboyantly. Rehab wants the people to celebrate Ramadhan gleefully without any anguish or grief regarding their daily food.

During Ramadhan 2014, Rehab India Foundation distributed 1180 Iftar food kits among impoverished and deprived families in the states of Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Bihar, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu etc. With these Iftar kits, 5837 people were benefited and were able to celebrate the divine Ramadhan with sheer delight and glee.

The Iftar food kit distribution covers families and individuals who are socially, financially and economically disadvantaged, with a special focus on the destitute, the elderly, the poor and the needy.
