Iftar Kits Distribution 2013

Assam:

"When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.”, narrated Afsel Chandrakandy General Secretary of Rehab India Foundation by distributing Iftar Kits to the poor families. 

Rehab India Foundation distributed 48 Iftar kits to the deprived families living in Assam Model Village at Hapasara Gram Panchayat in Bongaigoan District, Assam on Sunday July 7^th 2013.

Worth Rs. 1547, each food kit includes 10 Kg rice, 15.300 Kg atta, 2 Kg Gram,1 Kg Salt, 100 gm Ghee, 1 Packet Chana Powder, 2 Kg souji, 2 Kg dal, 1 Kg maida, 2 Ltr. cooking oil, 3. 94 Kg onion, 0.5 Kg spices, 200 gm tea and3 Kg sugar.

Remiz Muhammed, Secretary Rehab told, “Rajab is the holy month of Islamic Calendar. It is blessed with repentance, honesty, resoluteness and earnestness.”

Andhra Pradesh:

Rehab India Foundation distributed Iftar Kits to (Padosi) SHG members in Guntoor District on July 30^th, 2013.  45 Kits were distributed to the SHG members, while 20 kits were given to the other community poor people. Altogether, 65 Iftar Kits were given on the occasion.

West Bengal:
Borjumla:

Rehab India Foundation distributed Iftar Kits to 225 poor families of Borjumla Village in Murshidabad District, West Bengal. 

Balagacchi;

Under Village Development Programme, Rehab India Foundation distributed 225 Iftar Kits to the poor families of Balagacchi Village at Murshidabad, West Bengal.

Bihar:

To help poor families having sufficient meal to continue fast (Roza) in the month of Ramadan, Rehab India Foundation distributed Iftar Kits to 225 poor families in Bihar. 75 Kits were distributed at Bansibari, while 8 kits were distributed among dalit families of Nagatola Village. However, 45 kits were given to the families living in Tubkitola Village and 79 kits to community people of Bhodhutala Chanpi.

Uttar Pradesh:

 

100 food kits were distributed at Gourhar, Laourhar and Ansar Nagar Villages of Barabanki District, Uttar Pradesh.
