New VDP inaugurated Successfully!!!

Jogur in West Bengal has been newly identified for the Village Development Programme. The new VDP was inaugurated with ribbon cutting by IIMAN President Mr.Jammaluddin. Mr.Jamaluddin & IIMAN Joint Secretary Mr.Hasim Mussa in their speech encouraged the tuition centre children to pursue higher education and to achieve their aim. At present, totally 137 children have enrolled in the Tuition centre for basic primary education, grade One to Four. 

The programme was started with the Welcome speech by Mr.BadrulHoque – Village committee member. Students actively participated in the Cultural programmes. Skits were enacted to educate the village folks on Education, health & hygiene. 

 

Sagardhi block welfare officer Mr.Nasrul Mulla also participated in the programme. His speech was followed by orientation on Jute Training by Mrs.NuralNessaBegam. She explained on the importance, demands&profitability in Jute business. Ecological importance of Jute when compared to plastic bags was also explained. Various jute products were displayed &it benefits were explained to the public. 

General Secretary Mr.Afsel Chandrankandy stressed the importance of economic development through Jute production. Mr.Jammaluddin shared his experience of being brought up from poor village background to an Engineer.
