Sajid K M, North Zone Project Manager said, “We
charge Rs. 5 from each patient to provide consultation and medicine to them. This
we do because we do not want to make them dependent. Our intention is to realize
them that this is their village and they all have to collectively make plan and
work in a systematic manner, be it the development of an individual, family,
group, community or Village. All have to stand together with a vision of
improved present and bright future.”
Rehab India Foundation organized medical camp under
Village Development Programme in Bansibari Village of Katihar District, Bihar
on July 28th 2013.
MBBS Dr Kafil Ahmad provided the treatment to the
patients. Altogether, 90 patients got medical relief. He advised patients to
drain the water of pits and did not put open containers over the roof and
outside the house where rain water can be stored because this would increase
the chances of dengue, malaria and chikan gunia.
