Community Center Inauguration in Manipur

Rehab India Foundation hails inauguration of newly constructed Community centre at Purum Pangal Tabi of Manipur on 29.10.2014 at 11.30 Forenoon with ribbon cutting ceremony. It’s serves as a multi-purpose community centre. Pradhan of Uyumpok village panchayat Mrs. Echal Leima inaugurated the community centre with cutting ribbon. Mrs. Echal Leima was the esteemed Chief Guest. Mr. M.V Maqbool (State Executive Member, Popular Front of India) and Mr. Md. Arif Khan (Project coordinator North Zone, Rehab India Foundation) were the Guests of Honor with other members present.















The Chief Guest presented a speech highlighting the necessity and importance of education. He further said that education is the key to bring about changes and development. Education is essential for everyone. It is the level of education that helps people earn respect and recognition. It is indispensable part of life both personally and socially.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by more than 100 villagers including women and children. 2 teachers have been appointed after interviewing. 40 students so far have enrolled in the Rehab Community Centre. The classes will be commenced from the first week of November 2014 from Kindergarten till Fifth grade.


The importance of education is undeniable for every single person. It doesn’t goes without saying that education has a positive effect on human life. All people need to study. Only with the advent of education can people gain knowledge and enlarge their view over the world.


Education plays such a rudimentary role on our society that we cannot even imagine a life without it. It is a determined element for the civilization of human society. It helps us develop healthy surroundings and also generates an advance community.






We work toward providing appropriate learning opportunities to the rural populace who do not otherwise have access to education and helping the underprivileged children in attaining their right to knowledge and quality education. This community centre is established with the belief to improve the quality of life of the destitute people, community infrastructure in a tangible and sustainable way.
